RESULTS
BOSTON, MA - The week after the Divisional Championships has been dubbed "Weight Week" by the LHS coaches, as it features three chances for LHS's Bomb Squad to compete in the Weight Throw in the course of eight days. Wednesday, Lexington's best were at Reggie Lewis for the Massachusetts Scholastic Weight Throw Championships. Junior Ainsley Cuthbertson led the way for Lexington. The LHS record holder in the event, moved that mark out a bit farther as her best throw of the competition landed 47'1.50" into the sector to earn her the victory. On the boys' side it was fellow classmate Franz Schroeder who earned bronze with a throw of 51'11.75".

A select group of LHS athletes will return to Reggie Lewis on Saturday, February 22nd for the MIAA Meet of Champions. The former All-State Championship no longer features a team title, so many of Lexington's best athletes will skip the meet to prepare for the New Balance Indoor Nationals in mid March. For those competing, action begins at 10:30am.
