RESULTS
CAMBRIDGE, MA - Saturday, LHS's male steeplechasers got their next opportunity at the 2k distance as the Battle Road Twilight Series came to M.I.T. for their second meet of the spring. For The Minutemen it was the Finch brothers who dominated, as Sam won the event with a new personal best of 6:27.73. Henry took another positive step in the event as well with his runner-up finish. The junior's time of 6:47.27 was a PR. Along with the two Finch boys, fellow classmate Will Parker dipped under the 7-minute mark with a season best time of 6:59.57 to finish fourth overall.
Up Next
The Minutemen will be back in action for the conclusion of the MSTCA Division 1 Relays tomorrow, May 19th. After the pole vaulters competed yesterday in Andover, the rest of the events will take place on the South Coast. Action begins at 9:30am at New Bedford High School.
