RESULTS
BURLINGTON, MA - LHS's pole vault squad was back in action on Thursday in Burlington for their second competition of the season. After getting the nerves out last week, all of the team's vaulters returned this week and made it over the bar! Of the new vaulters, senior Ryan Zhang was the top finisher for The Minutemen on the boys' side as he cleared 9'0". Among the Lex girls' new vaulters, junior June Reddy and freshman Sarojini Nath were the highest finishers as both made it over 7'0".

The Minutemen return to action this Saturday, May 3rd for what is marked on the calendar as "Track Day." Two meets in one day as LHS will begin the day in Weymouth for the MSTCA Freshman / Sophomore Meet at 9:30am. At 5pm, The Minutemen will be at the Weston Twilight Distance festival at Regis College where the team's steeplechasers will take center stage.

Other Highlights from the Meet
- Junior Aidan Raney was LHS's top finisher on the day with a jump of 13'0" to place second overall; fellow classmate Brendan McVey (8'6") and freshman Matteo Sanchez de Rojas (7'0") finished ninth and tenth respectively.
- Senior Caitlin Lennox hit the MIAA Division 1 Championships standard by clearing 8'6"; freshman Casey Wilkas finished fourth overall with a jump of 6'6".
