LEXINGTON'S SEASON OPENS AT R.I. KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS RELAYS
Meet Information
58th Annual R.I. Knights of Columbus Relays
April 4, 2026
Conley Stadium - Providence, RI
RESULTS
PROVIDENCE, RI - As has become tradition in recent years, the Outdoor season began for The Minutemen down in the Ocean State, as LHS's Bomb Squad competed in Providence at the 58th Annual Rhode Island Knights of Columbus Relays. A unique meet in many ways, only three events are competed at Conley Stadium the first Saturday in April: the hammer throw, 4x1600m relay, and a freshman mile.
For Lexington, the highlight of the day came from 2x All-American, and newly signed University of Alabama commit, Ainsley Cuthbertson. LHS's senior captain had a bit of a slow start to the competition, but only got better as the rounds progressed. After she qualified for the finals, Cuthbertson delivered her best throw of the day, which landed at 164'6". That mark held up for fourth place on the day, and ranks her ninth in the country at this very early point in the spring.
Other Highlights from the Meet
Up Next
The Minutemen will have their full team competing this Tuesday, April 7th as they welcome Belmont to Lexington for the first Middlesex League dual meet of the season. Action begins at the Lexington Center Track at 4pm, and live results can be found HERE.
