RESULTS
BOSTON, MA - On Wednesday, the weight throwers were back in action for the Massachusetts Scholastic Weight Throw Championships, which are held as a part of the USATF-NE Vacation Youth Meet. For The Minutemen, sophomore Ainsley Cuthbertson had her best day of her career in the event. She was able to turn in a PR of 38'4.25" to place sixth overall in a talented field. Senior Quin Tandeih placed eighth with a throw of 33'11.75".
In the boys' competition it was senior captain Elijah Brown who had the best finish for The Minutemen. His throw of 47'10" earned him a fifth place finish on the day. His brother Christian - a sophomore - managed an 11th place finish with a throw of 41'8.75".

This Saturday, February 24th, The Minutemen will head back to the Reggie Lewis Center for the MIAA Meet of Champions. This will be the third straight year that the powers that be have decided to host this "championship meet" without any team title on the line. Despite this, some of Massachusetts' best prep track & field athletes will compete for the right to call themselves individual state champions. Action begins at 10:30am.
