RYAN, NOONAN, AND CUTHBERTSON MAKE IT A SOLID DAY 1 FOR LHS AT NE INVITE

RESULTS
BOSTON, MA - A select group of LHS student-athletes will travel to Boston this weekend to compete in the three-day MSTCA Northeast Invitational. On Friday evening, The Minutemen's dynamic duo of senior captain Joey "The Candyman" Ryan and freshman phenom Patrick Noonan toed the line together for the first time this season. The recently named Boston Globe and Boston Herald All-Scholastics competed in the seeded section of the Boys Mile and did so in fine fashioned. The Candyman ran a solid race from start to finish to place fourth overall in 4:24.11, while Noonan came on strong in the final lap to cross the line in ninth with a time of 4:32.12. Along with the Milers, sophomore Ainsley Cuthbertson continued her strong season in the Weight Throw. Her first throw of the four-throw competition flew 38'2", which landed her in third place on the day, and now ranks her in the US Top 100 in the event.

The Minutemen are back at Reggie Lewis tomorrow. The Hurdle Crew will compete in the morning beginning at 10am. In the evening the Boys 4x800m Relay is set to make its season debut. Live results can be found HERE and fans can view the free livestream as well.
