DURHAM, NH - The New England Championships were held this past weekend in New Hampshire, and The Minutemen were represented in the 300 meter Intermediate Hurdles, as well as the 4x100 and 4x400 meter relays. The first group to compete for The Minutemen was the 4x100 meter relay of senior Cameron Hofland, sophomore Brian Her, senior Lucas Honohan, and junior Kazu Uda-Thach. After getting out to a good start, on the second baton exchange another team crashed into Honohan after dropping their baton into The Minutemen's lane. The boys still finished 16th overall in a time of 44.14 seconds. Next up was The Minutemen's loan individual athlete, sophomore Andrew McGovern, who was competing in his first ever 300 meter Intermediate Hurdles (Massachusetts runs the 400 meter Intermediate Hurdles). McGovern finished 14th in a time of 41.12 seconds. The final event of the meet featured the 4x400 meter team of McGovern and Honohan paired up with sophomore Josh Backert, and senior Thomas Lingard. With a time of 3:26.02, the team finished fourth overall.

The Minutemen return to action this weekend at the New Balance Outdoor Nationals at Aggie Stadium on the campus of the University of North Carolina A&T in Greensboro. The 3-Day meet will feature the Nation's top talent, including seven members of the Lexington High School Boys and Girls teams. The meet begins at 10am on Friday morning and each event can be streamed live HERE.
