RESULTS
NEW YORK, NY - Saturday afternoon three members of the Lexington High School Track & Field team traveled down to iconic Icahn Stadium to compete at the 2019 edition of New York Relays. For the boys, it was senior Kazu Uda-Thach and junior Michael Gupta representing The Minutemen. While the girls were represented by junior Rachel Caldwell-Glixon.
"RCG" had a tough run in the 100m High Hurdles. After she blasted out from the blocks and was cruising through her prelim heat, the junior clipped the final hurdle and fell before the line. She then returned in the High Jump to finish seventh with a leap of 4'10".
On the boys side, Uda-Thach qualified for the finals in the 200m Dash with a time of 22.91 seconds. He then finished fourth in the finals running 23.06 seconds. In addition to the 200m, the senior also finished seventh in the Long Jump with a leap of 20'9.5". Not to be outdone, Gupta, competing in the Hammer Throw, placed seventh with a throw of 162'10".

The Minutemen are back in Middlesex League action on Wednesday as they travel to Arlington to compete against the Spy Ponders. The meet - at Arlington High School - is set to get underway at 4pm.
